Our Mission

The mission of Books for Change USA is to provide access to quality books both locally and globally. Books for Change USA will support book distribution programs and other educational initiates especially in communities with high poverty and low literacy rates. Books for Change USA will work to create and empower a global community of readers one book and one child at a time.

Young children whose parents read them five books a day enter kindergarten having heard about 1.4 million more words than children who were never read to.

Children growing up in homes with at least twenty books get three more years of schooling than children from bookless homes.
